SUMMARY of EXPERIENCE

Diana Dillaway has more than twenty-five years’ experience, in the San Francisco Bay Area and elsewhere, working in urban and community development with, among others, the San Jose Development Corporation, the Foundation for National Progress, the Center for Business and Environmental Studies at California State University-Hayward, and the Local Government Commission in Sacramento. LGC published her manual, "Capturing the Local Economic Benefit of Recycling." Hundreds of local governments throughout the U.S. have used this manual since it was published in 1992. She obtained a Master of City Planning degree, with a concentration in regional economics, at the University of California-Berkeley.
